Austin Art Garage
Austin Art Garage believes that art
connoisseurs come from all economic backgrounds and should be able to start their own collection no matter the depth of their pockets. Spotlighting only local artists, the gallery space connects buyers to the Austin art world and keeps at least 80% of its inventory below $500. With over 150+ artworks to choose from and a website that lists all prices, you can find art in variety of mediums and own a timeless piece of Austin culture.
Austin Chamber Music Center
The Austin Chamber Music Center (ACMC) is dedicated to serving Central Texans by expanding knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of chamber music through the highest quality instruction and performance. ACMC provides: an academic year academy and intensive summer workshop for students of all ages, with formal instruction in musicianship and the techniques of rehearsing and performing chamber music; in-school coaching services; public and private in-house concerts throughout the year as well as an annual chamber music festival; and concerts and programs for underserved populations.
Conspirare
Now in its 15th performance season, Conspirare combines outstanding vocal artistry withinnovative programming to create a unique and dynamic choral art. Under the leadership of Founder and Artistic Director Craig Hella Johnson, Conspirare is comprised of three performing ensembles: a professional chamber choir of singers from around the country; a symphonic choir of both professional and volunteer singers; and the Conspirare Children’s Choir, a training program for young singers, ages 9-16. Conspirare has performed at New York’s Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and continues to receive rave reviews and national acclaim. In 2005 the organization received the “Margaret Hillis Award for Choral Excellence,” presented by Chorus America. In 2007, as one of only seven choruses in the country to receive a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Tapestry Dance Company
Voted “Best Dance Company” by the 2007 Austin Chronicle Reader’s Poll, Tapestry Dance Company is Austin’s professional, non-profit dance organization founded in 1989 by rhythm tap dancer Acia Gray and ballet/jazz artist Deirdre Strand for the purpose of developing a foundation in cross discipline dance performance and education. This ecclectic company shares the power of dance through numerous events including local mainstage concerts, the Annual International Soul to Sole Festival in June, community outreach programs within the Austin Independent School District such as Rhythm, Dance, Music & You! as well as numerous classes and workshops for adults and children at its 12,000 square foot South Austin dance facility behind Central Market South. Tapestry is currently touring The Souls of Our Feet – A Celebration of American Tap Dance (also voted “Best Dance Concert 2007” by the Austin Critic’s Circle) as part of the NEA/National Dance Project American Masterpieces: Dance.

Viola By Choice
VIOLA BY CHOICE is an ensemble of the foremost local and visiting musicians, in variable instrumental combinations, which seeks to showcase the viola through engaging, eclectic and accessible chamber music performances. It wishes to foster dialogue between artists and the community, while challenging stereotypes associated with Classical Music and the viola. The viola is the perfect symbol of irresistible, boundless beauty too often concealed. As such, it is the hope of VIOLA BY CHOICE that it will encourage all to awaken, embrace, and share their inner viola, while reconnecting with each other and to Music.
