Tech Rider

ARE Tech Rider

American Repertory Ensemble’s specific technical needs change from one program to the next.  Please use this list as a general guideline.  Once the rep is selected and confirmed we will send a detailed tech rider.

Stage

• 39’x33’ (12mx10m)
• Wings, Black back drop and White Cyclorama
• Stage machinery and lighting equipment including side booms

Personnel

• Stage lighting team
• Light board operator
• Sound board operator
• Stage crew (minimum 4)

Equipment

• 5 x black chairs
• 5 x music stands
• 1 x 7 foot Grand piano (tuned)
• 1 x piano bench
• 1 x smoke machine with liquid
• 2 x prop tables

Sound

• House audio system
• Snakes to receive 8 mic inputs upstage center
• 2 piano mics
• 4 stage monitors (2 minimum)
• 1 x CD player
• 1 hand held microphone

Dressing Rooms

• 1 x small room to be used as a company office with 4 chairs and two desktop spaces (or equivalent)
• 2 x  Dressing Rooms with 5 chairs each
• Mirrors in each Dressing room
• 2 x bathrooms in good condition with Showers and hot water
• 2 x wardrobe racks or equivalent in the dressing rooms
• Washer and Dryer or access

Warm up space

• A dancing room with piano for rehearsal and warming up is required for 3 hours the day before the performance and the day of the show.
• A large warm up room with piano for musicians is required 1 hour before the show.
